Beginning Latin help?
I am starting to learn Latin on my own. I want to have a grasp on the basic grammar and vocabulary in about two weeks. Anybody know any good resources would be available to buy at a regular bookstore like Borders? I want something that will explain grammar and have good workbook exercises. If you know any good websites too, that would be helpful, especially if there is anything to do with pronunciation.
I would really recommend Cambridge Latin course. They have a real (and awesome) storyline rather then scattered practice sentences, good exercises for practice, and in-depth sections on the culture. It’s really awesome, good luck!
