please help me…its really important….i need a brief history of “multiplication property of exponents” i have been searching for days but haven’t found any info…thanks you very much…(if you guys may……please include methods for solving, vocabulary terms used, and any practice needed…..also a profession that uses the section to perform their profession….(teaching or any kind of education may not include))THANK YOU VERY MUCH….please asap….its really important….thanks again…

The term EXPONENT was introduced by Michael Stifel (1487-1567) in
1544 in Arithmetica integra. He wrote, “Est autem 3 exponens ipsius octonarij, & 5 est exponens 32 & 8 est exponens numeri 256″ (Smith vol. 2, page 521).

The Latin translates roughly as

But 3 is the exponent of that same eight, and 5 is the exponent of 32, and 8 is the exponent of the number 256.
